Heads up on the Coal Tar Epoxy

Resealing my deck plates over the fuel tanks and this is what happened when I ran the nozzle of the shop vac over the top of my starboard fuel tank:




I’m assuming RDS did not properly prep the metal when they initially coated it with Coal Tar epoxy (I did sand it down some back then and added 2 more coats).
