Vacuum choke, where to hook up a vacuum line?

The metal hard line goes to the "choke stove" on the exhaust crossover. The vacuum side is internal, there is a gasket that seals the choke assembly to the carb body. This port pulls hot air from the metal line to the bimetal choke spring.

OK, looked. I'm an idiot. It is a Q-Jet. Choke moves freely but linkage is not connected to anything.

The part you have is a "divorced choke". I have one. Cant stand it. Spring heats up and expands. You need cover and linkage. One screw. be careful drilling hole if you have to. This is a stock photo

National Carburetor says that I cannot put an electric choke on this carb. What to do now?

I like that also. Can I get a kit with a long enough cable?
