  • Transmission oil hose?

Anyone have a source for replacement transmission hose? Mine is on its last leg, some of the metal braiding is poking through the outer rubber coating.

Pat, your local hydraulics shop. I had Orchard Hydraulics do mine.

Truth is Ship that was my first thought but because it's below deck I wasn't sure if they used a bronze fittings. Thanks for the suggestion!

I use this stuff on the ends. Works great even on steel fittings.

You wrap the fitting with it when done. It's Sticky! Sometimes I put a wrap of electrical splicing tape over everything to avoid a mess. But it works well
