Shaft packing size

What size shaft packing should be around the driveshaft and rudder shaft in my 86 26 cuddy? I’m not currently at the boat and assume it has a 1-1/4” shaft. Looks like the original style log. I did some searching but could t find anything definitive for the 26. I’m guessing 1/4” is what I need. Any gel would be great
