  • Deadrise?

    Refresh my memory, someone...
Deadrise angle on a 1985 26 hull in the engine room just starboard of the tranny?
    12 degrees???

Asking in planning for a through hull transducer and need to order correct angle.

Yep. It moves up and down but at the spot you're asking, it's 12*

A couple years back, I posted one of Nay's drawings and overlayed the angle on AutoCAD. It was the same for both the 20 and 26

I would use the iPhone app that Airmar (Gemeco) has to determine the tilt angle of the deadrise at the mounting location.

I used the bubble level app in the cell phone and it showed 11 degrees...just wanted to confirm that I was close since the 'ducers come in 12 or 20 degree.

The 12 actually goes from like 8-15* if i remember correctly and the 20 goes 16-24*

I have a 12* Airmar mounted just forward of the engine on the Starboard side and it works very well.
