Anyone have tips to remove rust stains on the hull around the hardware?

On- and Off from your marine supply will make it disappear. Only use a little. Too much will degrade the SS.

Bleach works too but degrades the gelcoat over time. Flush with lots of water.

I use CLR or the generic from Home Depot. Wear gloves.

The best. Made by "Mary Kate". They even have gel now so it sticks a little

Agreed on the On Off. I haven't found any other product that works as well. Protect your boat trailer from the stuff.

Iron out from lowes works perfect for rust stains on gel coat. Get it wet at toss some on it and let it sit for a couple minutes. It's made for getting stains out of bath tubs. I used to use it on my Chris craft all the time because the boat was kept in a covered slip with a metal roof. It would take the stains right out!
