Possibly consider late September or early October. Nice days that time of the year are usually beautiful.

I was thinking after the holidays. We all know how that time of the year can be crazy to say the least. January and February were absolutely beautiful here this year. Just thinking of breaking the monotonous cabin fever you all endure up there in Yankee land....ha!

January, February and March are all open. A fishing friend from Erie invited us to visit in Florida over the winter so we could even combine trips with the right notice.

They always were the first weekend in October. Hurricanes. I like February or March. Everyone needs a break from the winter about then.

Would have been this past weekend. Just a mild storm. This is actually a good time to have it. Weather and fishing are good. Rates are still not "in season".

. I thought it was this weekend. 5/8 - 5/10? .weather is a little raining Friday but Saturday (62-44F clear) and Sunday (66-57F partly cloudy). I was staying Monday (75-48 F clear) and leaving on Tuesday (67 and clear). I would have been a week late! But it would have been nice weather.

You're right, I'm wrong. I'll tell Linda that I was wrong. She'll be happy. Storming now. We have to get something going. I need a get together. Anywhere and anytime.

Has anyone seen or heard anything about discussions on the next stimulus relief package including a tourism tax credit for families who take a vacation somewhere in the U.S. in the next 3 to 6 months. Below is a link to a Forbes article about it. Being my wife and I are hard working citizens in “essential“ fields we had to go to work everyday and Uncle Sam did not remember us in the first stimulus package.

Maybe we can declare the Emerald Isle get together is tourism related and get in on the handouts.

That’s why I want to retire. As much as I enjoy what I do, like many others I absolutely hate working like crazy so some dirty politicians can give the hard earned money to freeloaders.

Im all for supporting the truly needed or disabled but seeing where our money really goes just frosts my ass. I personally know people who are perfectly able to work but are content living like leaches.

                            sorry for the rant.

on a better note Emerald Isle is sounding great.
