Had some interest in reviving this. I'm not working any longer so the Saturday shop thing would be missing. Would move it to the spring to avoid the bad weather. April or May weather is good. Any suggestions or interest? We had as many as 38 people before the interest waned. Would be great if we could get it back to at least 20.

Was a family friendly gathering of friends in Emerald Isle, N.C. Friday night at my house, Saturday guys met and hung out at the shop and Saturday night was again at my house. Much conversation, food and drink. Sunday most headed home with some back at my house for more of the same. 2015 there were 38 people but it shrunk in the next couple of years. My thought is to have it in a place as centrally located for the most people. I really enjoy having it here. I always scheduled it here when the rates dropped but the weather was still not real cold. Need something to do on Saturday. Guys were at the shop and wives were at the Mullet or Seafood festival, shopping , or on the beach. Unfortunately the Oct dates I picked were the same as mother nature picked, on more than one occasion, for hurricanes . Still seemed like the best ones were when we had the worst weather. Like the Cape May Nor'easter at Gregs. or 2015 here. I think the spring time would be better. What to do on Saturday, if anything?

For those who have never been, you need to go! Not often so many Shamrock boat addicts get together. It is a good time with GREAT people.

Why feel ashamed? You're not the only one with significant health issues. Trust me on this one. I'm not saying this to be antagonistic but more in lines of encouragement. Sometimes you just have to say f&$k it! Do it.

Met with 2 good guys today. I'm leaning towards the springtime here in E.I. Will call Gail tomorrow and that will have a big bearing on the get together.
