ID:	32026 Got to love your grand sons... And daughters!!! My grandson decides he now has time and money for a boat after giving mine back to me. AND goes out and buys the same boat 5 years older. I still love the heck out of him but to be 20 again has little appeal to me or at least not the changing tide of wants.

        • Best of both worlds ship... a boat project to enjoy without having to pay the bill or store it! You must have taught him well if he decided on a shamrock to make his own!

            • Hopefully a “new” Shamrock for you both to build memories. I’m sure he will be reaching out to you for advice and your expertise. Enjoy the time with him.

              • Karen, Mark, his reason for buying it was: "I looked at and rode in a bunch of other boats and none was as solid on the water. It didn't feel like I was getting pounded on any little wave." And yes it's a project of sorts. It runs but needs teeth on flywheel and manifolds... At this point. Lol We will see. I DO enjoy but can't wrench anymore . He will hate me over explaining everything like always.🧐

                • Ship, you may not be able to do the actual wrenching, but being there to pass on that encyclopedia worth of knowledge you have in your head is a priceless resource that I envy your grandson for having. Yes, there may be some rough patches when your experience comes up against his "young person" stubbornness but the overall process will be rewarding. I like knowing you are teaching another generation of the shamrock family!

302 Pcm ford date at this point unknown. He's coming over tonight and I will give him my library and maybe we will find out. It may not be the original engine. He thinks it's a clockwise rotation but I haven't confirmed that yet.

                  • So next question, are you getting him signed up on here so we can all enjoy the rehab? Screen name?

                      • Thanks to the generosity of Greg my grandson now has it, my boat, and he had it on the water and has it back in the yard.It runs. It does all the things it's supposed to do and he just needs to clean it up and dress it up. So thank you Greg and all on the website. Now you know what a good guy looks like.

                        • And as an added bonus he already sold the boat that he had bought for the same money he bought it for
