We see stupid stuff everyday. They are building this large obnoxious house across the canal from me. Did you know that if you take the brace off a step ladder, it becomes a extension ladder?

This reminds me of a TV ad for I think Barry Goldwater, or against communism, where a dancer has a ball and chain strapped to her leg to make her equal with those less talented. This would have been 1960-64 range. I was a kid so don't remember all the details but a similar philosophy.

More new canal neighbor moments. Y'all won't believe this but I swear it is true. I currently have 3 boats at the house. I run each one at least once a week. Today I ran each one out in the sound and back, about 15 minutes each. I'm at the dock tying up the 20 when the wife comes out and says you won't believe me but the woman across the canal called and is really bent out of shape. She wants you to stop running the boats in the canal. You are making the water go into her yard. I laughed, no I'm serious. She is mad that you flooded her yard. Nice woman from the Charlotte area. We have been having extremely high tides and the water has gone about a foot into her yard, like everyone else. Told my wife to call her back and express my sincere apology. I'll stop.

Better not tell her then that good ole A. Gore says in x number of years her house will be underwater as well. You should have some friends motor over for a visit.
