I saw $2.79 at an off brand station today and they are usually cheapest around here. That was the cash price. Add 20 cents for credit.

Diesel was $2.89 last fill up. NY loves its fuel taxes. At a time where fuel demand is low except for heat, and people's incomes have been whacked, these higher fuel prices are hurting the poorest among us. The political boomerang effect should be kicking in soon..

$2.69 regular on Eastern Shore of Md.
They're blaming it on production problems i think.
            Let's watch what happens.

            Thank you JoMala

Went out today and it rose 10 cents in a day to 2.89 at Wawa. One of the off brands was 2.99 cash. Dang that's fast.

My neighbor, a Financial Planner/Broker who follows this sort of thing, told me that a significant amount of refining capacity in the US has recently been shut down permanently.... not to be restarted. (Have no idea of the statement's accuracy.) Have to shake my head though.
