Talked with Gail briefly today. Ted is getting stronger. physical therapy is actually making him stronger. He can stand and walk for a greater time and gets himself out of bed and into the wheelchair. I will have more to report soon. Gail sounded better than she has in the past. What a long slow process. I don't envy her at all.

I feel for her. My wife has spent many evening crying because my progress was so slow. Go Kurt Go!

Ted actually gets on the computer frequently but does not post. He has trouble using the keyboard and we all know how frustrating that can be. He can and does write very well to communicate. I assume, and you all should also, that he is visiting this site. We talked today about the sale of the boat. Curt is back in Pa. and will get together with Gail. We will make it happen. Gail asked about this years get together. She is not sure how she could get here with Ted but thought it would be wonderful for him and her. I told her to come with her daughter and son in law. They could all take turns driving. Good idea?

Jerry, I will commit to bring them down if they think he can handle riding in a truck. I am going to bring my travel trailer to stay in so they can have the queen bed if they want it. I can sleep in the bunk.

They have a friend in the area, a place to stay. That is how the first get together started. Ted was going to be here and Curt was also. I said why not get together. Thursday at about 3 PM Ted and Pat, "Striper Sniper" come strolling down the driveway. followed by Chicago Mike and Mad Mike. Had guys here til 2 AM for 3 days. Steve and his dad. Cecil, Curt and Jay showed up. Reefbreak and who am I missing for the first one? Was great, an absolute blast.

Curt is in contact with Gail on a regular basis about the boat. He is ready to do what is necessary to get it ready to sell but Gail has other more important things right now. She has a lot going on and she is being superwoman. Ted is about the same. Good spirits and hopefully they will work out all the details to get here for the get together.
