Talked to Gail today. Ted is making some progress. Slow but progress just the same. He has gotten stronger and is trying to do more. Walking about 20 or so steps at a time now. Long, slow journey. He asked about the boat and how Pat made out. Very happy with how that worked out.1988 26' cuddy

Been some time since I posted here. Ted is doing about the same and this is what it is. He has a helper come everyday and really likes the guy. They talk and laugh the best he can. He walks only 30 steps each day and gets tired. But he does get up and walk every day. Communicates with Gail easily. He has told her that he misses the "old gang" and the get togethers. He asks about some of the individuals, wants to know how they are doing. He remembers you all and the good times. The first get together when he and Pat showed up a day and a half early and we partied til 3 AM. Mad Mike and Chicago Mike up on the deck.
Gail has had many problems of her own lately. I won't go into details but the last 6 months have been an ordeal for her. My heart surgery and bad back don't compare and she made me feel a bit guilty about complaining. She is a very strong individual and just thinking about what she has been through in the past few years makes me grateful for what I have and the family around me. She laughed it off with an "oh I can't wait to see whats next".
She asked about a get together and said that they were great times and she really missed them. She wanted to know how everyone was and I told her the best I could. Actually talked for about an hour.1988 26' cuddy

I have never met them in person but know from all of the stories and old threads I would like them. It is unfortunate they are having to go through such ordeals, good folks shouldn't have to. I am glad you are in touch and are able to keep his friends here updated.

One couple that does not deserve the pain. If you talk to Gail again, I would love their phone number. Only have the old one. Jerry, thank you for keeping in touch with Ted.Atlantic City, NJ
