Last time I heard stripers anywhere close to here was on the east side of the cape about 5 yrs ago. As for grouper; hmmm what do you do with those trash fish? Along with those crappy triggers you might catch in between!

Chris, you know that I eat anything that comes off the bottom. Thats what I like about bottom fishing. Nobody else eats the trash fish so I always get a cooler full to go home.

Rock Bottom, how was the trip. Worth a get together next year? I see that there is a boat ramp. Good for a 26'er? Can you leave the boat in the water? Did you catch anything?

This has been our limit for some time. AND no taking fish more than 3 miles from shore.

New Jersey recreational striped bass regulations in all state waters are as follows: One fish 28" to less than 43" AND one fish 43" or greater.Jan 1, 2019
Season is March 1 to December 31.

I've only had 3 days off since March 7th. I still have an electrical issue to deal with so the Heather Rose is awaiting my attention. I'm not working this weekend so hopefully I can get the problem sorted out. Then it's Striper time.... oh wait works getting in the way again. :-(

Sorry about not getting into the fish, but always good when the boats run good! Not much better than a day on the water!
