    For Sale
    1987 26 Shamrock Pilothouse w/ Trailer
    Excellent Condition

    The Boat:
I had always had a dream of finding a nice 26 Pilothouse and when this one popped up, I went to get it as fast as I could. Many of them are in commercial service and they are tough to find in good condition. This boat was privately owned and was used as a cruising and fishing vessel. The pilothouse design is great because it gives you the full maneuverability of a center console yet it also allows you to shut the doors when it gets nasty out. The running hear is protected by a keel and it is a straight inboard. Although the height of the house is low, the floor panel flips up and allows you to stand allowing around 6’5 head room. This boat gets more compliments than any boat I have ever owned. The 5.8 PCM HO pushes her along nicely with a cruise speed of 20 knots- 22 knots.

Boat specs: - 8’ Beam, 2’ draft, 27 feet LOA Weight: 5900 lbs (dry)
    Cruise: 10 GPH @ 3200 RPM- 20 knots
    Fast Cruise: 12 GPH @ 3400 RPM – 22 knots
    WOT: 28 knots @ 4700 rpm
Fuel Tankage: 50 Gal per side

Great looking boat! That looks like Great oak marina in the background in that last set of pics.

One of the benefits of this website is that we don't have to wonder about the boat or the owner. Can't go wrong with either boat or dealing with Jonathan.

Thanks Jerry! I’m not sure what I would do without the Shameock community and everything you do to help others either.

After much debate my dad and I decided to keep the pilot for now so we can fish in the evenings. Off the market!

Jonathan, listen to me. I'm a lot older with a lot more experience. You're young and single. You have a good job and 2 great boats. You can do anything you want, any time you want, without asking any ones opinion. You enjoy life to the fullest. Damn I hate you.
